Hi, I’m Khas! I’ve been behind the chair for 5 years, starting my career through an apprenticeship at a high-end salon in downtown Austin where I learned the art of both precision and creativity. After almost two years working in another bustling salon and a mini break, I took the leap into independence and now proudly own my own mini salon suite. Creating a welcoming space where guests feel at ease while leaving with hair they love is at the heart of what I do. Outside the salon, I’m happily married and a proud mom of three very active kids who keep me busy with their after-school activities (yes, I’m basically their full-time chauffeur, too). When I do get a moment to myself, you’ll usually find me curled up with a rom-com novel, coloring for a little creative reset, or catching up on the latest reality TV drama. At KolorByKhas, my mission is to make luxury hair services worth your time and attention, with a special focus on brunettes in a world dominated by blonde salons.
